Taiwanese art, over the past century, has undergone a fascinating and diversified historical process, and it is also a critical era in which Taiwan's society has moved from tradition to modernity. From the period of pre-Japanese colonial rule, the continuity of traditional painting, calligraphy, and crafts; the later period of Japanese rule - the rise of the New Art Movement; the early postwar period - the emergence of social realism; the early martial law period - the art of political warfare under the anti-Communist and anti-Soviet period; the pre-modern period - the rise of the Modern Painting Movement; the mid-modern period - the modernization of art of life under the Nativistic Movement; the period before and after the abolishment of martial law - the diversity and openness - Art Gallery Age to the contemporary period - the contemporary avant-garde under the international perspective, there were many phases. With the accumulation of each phase, the making of Taiwan's Modern Artistic Splendor was created and this unit collaborated with the National Museum of History to select the most famous works in The History of Taiwan Art and invited Director LIAO, Hsin-Tien to give a lecture, leading the radio listeners to understand the key moments in the art through reading, appreciating, and bringing the wonderful historical stories and the significance of the times behind them.
