每年聖誕節，大街小巷總會響起那熟悉的旋律──〈普世歡騰 Joy to the World〉
你也許會唱，但你知道嗎？這首詩歌已經傳唱 300 年！
而且它原本的焦點並不是描述耶穌的誕生，而是歌頌基督、帶來救恩，全地因此歡騰。
12/3(三)下午4:05~5:00 tea time時光《唱歌學英文》單元，高雄市鎮港園社區大學英文老師Mark，帶我們走進這首經典聖詩的誕生故事，從歌詞裡學英文。

詩篇第98章
- Sing to the Lord a new song,
你們要向耶和華唱新歌！
for he has done marvelous things;
因為他行過奇妙的事；
his right hand and his holy arm have worked salvation for him.
他的右手和聖臂施行救恩。
‧salvation 救贖
- The Lord has made his salvation known
耶和華救恩為人所知，
and revealed his righteousness to the nations.
在列邦人眼前顯出公義；
He has remembered his love and his faithfulness to Israel;
記念他向以色列所發的慈愛，所憑的信實。
‧righteousness 公義

平等與公平的差別
‧平等(equality): 是指每人被平均分配同等的資源去獲得機會或完成任務。
‧公平(equity) : 是指根據個人不同需要和情況提供資源和協助，以達到一種相對公平的結果。
